TOP CHEF Season 6 finale filmed on Napa Valley Wine Train
Bravo Dec. 2, 2009 at 10/9c.

The exciting finale of TOP CHEF’s season 6 took place in the beautiful and storied Napa Valley in December. Known world-round for its amazing restaurants and wine, Napa was a great setting for Bravo’s highly rated TV culinary contest.
The first Quickfire Challenge happens on the Napa Valley Wine Train as it travels the Valley floor on a rainy harvest afternoon. The four remaining chefs are required to whip up their magic in the main onboard kitchen of the Train. When it reached the end of the line, one chef bested the rest and another was closer to going home.

The tight kitchen presented challenges as chefs bumped into each other and the movement created pressures as well. Jennifer remarked that "the Train moving adds another element" to the challenge, and it looked like she really worked hard for the challenge's prize -- a new Prius. Unfortunately, she went home at the end of the day and the brothers did a one-two punch winning the Quickfire, the Prius, and the Elimination challenge.

"The Wine Train is known for great cuisine." Which brother said it? Post your answers on our facebook page.

The Napa Valley Wine Train has been serving Bay Area locals and Napa Valley visitors an amazing experience since 1989. The kitchen that the Bravo chefs worked in can see as many as 300 lunches or dinners served in just three hours, all done with exceptional quality. On a typical busy day, up to five chefs might be working behind the glass partition along with several kitchen support staff.
