The newest Railcar, The Silverado, was refurbished and put on line in 1998. This Railcar has quickly become a favorite with its casual atmosphere and it's sliding windows to capitalize on the wonderful moderate of the Napa Valley.
Passengers desiring a 'lighter' fare may select from an 'a la carte' menu during the luncheon excursion ...all freshly prepared as ordered.
To reflect California's rich frontier heritage, some of the decor includes the collection of "Hollywood Western Movie Stars," donated to Wine Train's owner, Vincent DeDomenico, by Academy~Award winning Actor, Robert Redford.
Immediately adjoining the Silverado Car is the Wine Tasting Car which is open to all train passengers.
The Silverado operates seasonally during luncheon excursion and can be chartered for groups up to 50. Special seasonal 3-course meal packages are available for groups offering a choice of entrees. Meals are freshly prepared for groups also.
