The Napa Valley Wine Train consists of nine Pullman Railcars varying in age from 1915 to 1950.
Lavishly restored and meticulously decorated to revisit an era of bygone elegance.
The interior renovations were all done locally and took from six to eighteen months in the design and construction.
Each of the Napa Valley Wine Train's four parlor cars, four dining cars and kitchen car were found through an extensive North American search for turn-of-the-century era (or near to it) rolling stock.
It was not a concern that the Railcars arrived in various states of dilapidation and disrepair, as renovating and refurbishing cars from the wheels up was in the Wine Train's plan and was of special interest to owner, Vincent DeDomenico, of Golden Grain & Ghirardelli Fame.
