The excitement builds as you check in with our team at McKinstry Street Station and join the queue to board. During a short wait, you take a moment to learn more about the Wine Train’s history and the station’s preservation.

5:50 PM | Boarding Call

As golden hour sets in, you’re called aboard the train. Now, it’s almost time to leave the station, and your entire culinary journey is ahead of you. Excitement begins to bubble over.

6:20 PM | Time to Depart

The locomotive blows its whistle, signaling the start of your journey. As the train pulls you forward gently, you settle in for a seasonal culinary experience while sipping a welcome splash of bubbly.

6:30 PM | Bon Appétit

No Gourmet Express experience is complete without a selection of world-class cuisine. Over three courses, you immerse your palette in delicious offerings, including roasted beet salad, red wine-braised beef short ribs, and a sweet or savory dessert course

8:45 PM | Farewell For Now

You traveled from Napa to Rutherford and back while enjoying three decadent courses. Now, it’s time to say farewell as the train pulls back into its station. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you back.

Amazing Experience!

Great experience seeing the sunset over the napa valley vineyards. All staff members gave top quality service. More than a dinner it’s an experience.

Great Time on the Wine Train

Overall a great experience, staff was great, from the inside ticket staff to our great server. Food was very tasty and of course many wine selections. Very nice touch when you arrive to your table, you already have ice water and a glass of Champagne poured. Throughout the trip your car was being given some background and a little history of the area and some of the wineries. Two plus hours went by very quick!

Do the Gourmet Dining Experience!

This is a must. At least once, do it! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was impressively good and the total ambience was marvelous.

Veronica and Johanna were attentive and friendly! Great Napa experience to bring your children to. Enjoyment for the entire family.

A Wonderful Experience

I would truly recommend the dinner experience to all. Everyone was very kind from the time that we entered the building (to check in and board the train) to the time we boarded and departed. Once on board, the staff was amazing, kind, attentive, and professional. The food was exceptional and one of the best dinners we have had. My hustand had the steak and I had the ribs. Well worth the investment.
