This Meet the Maker event begins with a 3-hour tour of Napa Valley from the comforts of the Wine Train’s Private Reserve rail car. During your tour, you’ll be treated to a 4-course gourmet dinner with a distinctive selection of Trefethen wines and tasting notes from the winemakers. To top it all off, third-generation winemaker Lorenzo Trefethen will be on hand to share priceless stories from his family’s half-century in Napa. If you’ve ever wanted a behind-the-scenes look at life in the heart of Napa, this is the fall event for you.

The Blue Note Express Music & Dinner Train will take you through Napa Valley aboard the Open-Air Car—our newest train. With a welcoming glass of sparkling wine, you’ll be serenaded by the Wine Train Quartet as you absorb all the natural beauty of the region. Enjoy a meal in the vintage dinner railcar, followed by a decadent dessert as the train makes its way back to the station. When the tour concludes, your night will just be beginning, as you’ll make your way to the world-famous Blue Note Napa for a special performance from Grammy-nominated R&B legend Brian McKnight. Safeway Open 2018

Golf fans are in for a treat when they visit Napa Valley this October, thanks to our Safeway Open 2018 event! Guests will join us aboard a vintage train for a 3-hour rail tour of Napa Valley—complete with a welcoming taste of sparkling wine and multiple course gourmet lunch! Then, it’s off to the Safeway Open, where golf icons such as Ernie Els, Mike Weir, Tiger Woods, and Vijay Singh have competed over the years.
