Tickets and Entry Basics

Let’s make sure your entry is as smooth and efficient as possible, so you have more time to enjoy the festival.

To move through the gates faster:

  • Bring a clear bag and keep it tidy and easy to open
  • Remove extra layers before security
  • Expect your bag to be searched each time you enter
  • If you bring a prohibited item, it may be confiscated and will not be returned

About wristbands:

Your wristband is your ticket (no printed tickets). Once it arrives, don’t try it on early—wristbands can’t be loosened after tightening and aren’t transferable. Wear it at all times while on festival grounds.

How to do BottleRock Like a Pro

With so many stages, it’s impossible to catch every performance. The secret to a fun festival is strategy, not sprinting.

  • Each day, map out your favorite performers
  • Note what time they are performing and which stage they’ll be on
  • Build in time for food, shade, and surprises you’ll discover onsite

Remember to schedule breaks throughout the day to enjoy the festival’s unique experiences—whether it’s the Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage for foodies, The Spa for some rest and relaxation, or exploring the grounds and taking pictures with the art installations.

Wine Train Tip: Make sure you sign up for texts to get the inside scoop about festival updates!

Food and Drink Strategy

BottleRock Festival takes its culinary experience seriously, offering an elevated and unique dining and beverage experience.

Here’s how to eat and drink well all weekend:

  • Start with smaller portions so you can try more
  • Share bites and pours with friends—your lineup can include food, too
  • Hydrate early and often (your future self will thank you)
  • Mix in shaded breaks so the day stays fun, not exhausting

Between the Culinary Garden, wine-forward lounges, and plenty of quick-service options, it’s easy to build a delicious day—just pace it like the music.

Getting There and Getting Home

The end-of-night rush is real—plan now so you don’t end up scrambling later.

If you’re driving:

  • Parking is available for a fee (some premium ticket tiers may include parking benefits)
  • ADA parking is limited—arrive early if you need it

If you’re not driving:

  • Amtrak San Joaquins can be a comfortable option for regional travel
  • Rideshare/taxi pickup and dropoff is at 3rd St & Randolph St
  • BottleRock buses run from major cities (book early to secure your seat)
  • Napa Valley’s VINE Transit offers free rides with extended late-night service during the festival weekend

Don’t get stranded: Before the first note of the day, you should have a plan in place for after the final encore—especially if you’re meeting friends or relying on rideshare.

Where Wine Train Fits Perfectly (Pre-Festival)

Once you touch down in Napa, ease into the weekend with a slow, scenic start. For a quintessential pre-festival experience, the Napa Valley Wine Train offers a relaxed way to soak in the beauty of wine country before the BottleRock crowds arrive. Whether you choose a scenic Vista Dome Lunch departure or an elegant Gourmet Express Lunch, the journey pairs stunning vineyard views with exceptional food and wine. It’s the perfect way to begin your day while still leaving plenty of time for the other Napa adventures.

A BottleRock weekend is even better when you balance the headline moments with Napa’s slower pleasures. Spend time downtown browsing boutiques and galleries, grab coffee or lunch from a local café, or take a peaceful walk along the riverfront when you want a breath of calm before the festival starts. If you’re planning a special dinner, a classic like Cole’s Chop House makes a memorable way to cap off the day.

While the festival may be the main event, don’t miss the chance to experience the many unique moments Napa Valley has to offer along the way.

Where Wine Train Fits Perfectly (Post-Festival)

After the energy of the festival, the Wine Train offers the perfect way to slow things down and savor the final moments of your Napa getaway.

Longer, leisurely journeys like our Legacy experience invite you to trade big stages for vineyard views and bustling crowds for the gentle rhythm of the rails. Settle in for a thoughtfully prepared multi-course meal, sip and stop at exceptional local wineries on our Grgich Hills Estate Tasting, and watch Napa Valley roll by outside your window. It’s a relaxed, memorable way to reflect on the weekend, and a beautiful way to cap off your time in wine country.
