Our Santa Train Jolly Journeys offer four festive adventures on select evenings in November and December, where you can hop aboard the Wine Train, immerse yourself in the charming holiday spirit, and even ride the rails with jolly old Saint Nick. So, get ready to carry on old traditions and start new ones with an unforgettable seasonal ride filled with gourmet food, festive beverages, and tidings of joy.
Before Departure, Get Into The Christmas Spirit
Like an old Christmas storybook scene, the Wine Train will be decked out in complete holiday décor. Before your magical ride, take some time to enjoy twinkling lights lining the rail cars and jolly carolers serenading you and your group with Christmas spirit. Don’t forget your letter to Santa — our Merry Mailing Center is ready to receive your wish lists and ensure they arrive in time for the big day. Be sure to get there early for a first-come-first-serve photo op with Santa and the chance to shop for festive pajamas and holiday gifts at our train station’s Wine Store. Plus, a donation toy box will be in the station to support our partner, Expressions of Hope Napa.
Choose From Four Magical Journeys
Each merry ride takes guests from Downtown Napa to Yountville and back, offering a chance to weave through the Valley under a blanket of early winter stars. On Santa’s Cookie Car, guests can mingle with Kris Kringle while enjoying a hot cup of cocoa or cider and a fresh-baked holiday cookie. Warm and fuzzy holiday feels? Check. On the Gourmet Holiday Express’s fully restored Pullman dining car and the Jingle on the Rail’s Pullman lounge car, three festive Napa-Valley-inspired courses served and prepared onboard await our guests. The Very Merry Vista Dome invites you to climb aboard an observation-style Pullman dining car, indulge in a three-course dinner, and enjoy a sky full of stars through the glass dome. For all experiences, including dinner, rest assured that you’ll find a family-friendly menu catering to all tastes.

We donate a portion of our Jolly Journeys proceeds to Napa Communities Firewise Foundation, an organization working hard to reduce the risk and impacts of wildfires in Napa County.
