in a romantic rail line adventure for your next date night!

Combining rail travel, gourmet eats, and some of the finest wine that Napa Valley has to offer –
produced right from the vineyards you will pass along during your journey – the Wine Train experience

Half Day Dates

Lunch or dinner? Decisions, decisions. If you’re a sucker for sunsets, you may choose to select the Vista
Dome Dinner for dinner with a view as the sun sets along the vineyards. If you're more of a lunch date
type of person, you can opt for the Vista Dome Lunch with lush views of the Valley instead!

Any tea fans? If so, you may want to check out our Afternoon Tea Experience, especially this summer as
we are transporting guests to a secret garden for an exciting collaboration between Chandon and the
Napa Valley Wine Train for the April to October 2023 season! This three-hour adventure offers steeped
tea and finger sandwiches galore! Looking for a little extra indulgence? A caviar course with wine
pairings is available for add-on with this experience!

Discover a feast for the senses on our newest journey, Tasting on the Rails! Foodie couples will love the
opportunity to taste multiple different offerings of both foods and wines – seven of each, to be exact!
This new adventure gives you the one-of-a-kind opportunity to taste the flavors of Napa Valley through
the wines you're consuming as you pass by the very AVAs where they were produced.

Looking for a more interactive date? From September 4 to October 15, make sure to check out the
Grape Stomp at Grgich Hills! Enjoy two hours aboard our vintage train with a multiple course gourmet
lunch before heading to Grgich Hills to immerse yourself in a grape stomp! Immerse yourself (quite
literally) in the process of winemaking that dates back ages. With this event being so exclusive, make
sure to secure your tickets as soon as possible! Looking for a classic laid-back vibe? You can never go
wrong with our signature Gourmet Express experience!

Full Day Dates

If you're more of a “go big or go home” person looking for a full day date outing, make sure to grab
tickets to our Legacy Experience! This six-hour adventure takes you to three delicious wine tastings at
the iconic Napa Valley Welcome Sign, Charles Krug, and V. Sattui with no shortage of photo ops along
the way. You’ll learn about winemaking history dating back more than 200 years. Of course, we can’t
forget about the meal—this experience also includes four delectable gourmet courses made fresh
aboard our antique train!
